Youth in Action programme

„Youth in Action Programme” is an EU programme supporting non-formal ways of learning, connected with the method of „learning during whole life”. Its main aim is to promote active citizenship ideas in young Europeans and encouraging them in creating European Union’s future. The programme promotes multicultural dialogue and helps in the field of integration of young people.

The youth from Zespół Szkół Technicznych in Rzeszów oraz Youth Center of Lamia took place in Action 1.1 of the “Youth in Action Programme”. Within eight days in Rzeszów and it’s neighbourhood they realised project concerning protection of natural environment, they learned methods of use of alternative energy sources, methods of water purifying and ways of protecting animals and plants in natural parks and reserves in Podkarpacie province.
